Queensland's best kept secret:
A coastal paradise with 12.5 acres of absolute beachfront parkland
provide a truly unique eco-experience at Turtle Sands

Visitors from all over the world witness species of endangered sea turtles returning to nest. An information centre is located adjacent to the park. Locals return year after year to enjoy the relaxation, fellowship and facilities that only Turtle Sands can offer.

The natural undulating gardens and lawns of the park create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, with many species of colourful parrots visiting the lovely casuarina trees.
Beach and estuary fishing is at your doorstep.
Early morning beach walks, nature trails and headlands to explore.
Enjoy the sunshine: swim or sail in the stinger-free surf. The beach is patrolled by lifesavers during Christmas (December to January) and Easter (April) school holidays.
From the kiosk, a boardwalk meanders through the casuarina groves down to the beach.
A convenience store and kiosk are situated within the park where grocery supplies, ice and gas can be obtained, as well as the holiday icecreams!
Our friendly staff are available to assist you with day cruise bookings to whale-watching and the Great Barrier Reef Coral Isles of Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot
